Heating:

Solar water heaters come in a wide variety of designs capturing the sun's thermal energy to heat water and can be used to support traditional(gas, oil, radiant) heating systems.  All include a collector and storage tank  A glass or metal tube containing the water or heat transfer fluid is surrounded by a larger glass tube.  The space between them is a vacuum, minimizing heat loss from the fluid.

Air Conditioning:

The best time to install central air conditioning is during the winter or early spring.  The cost will vary depending on the size of the area to cool, age of the building and the existence of duct work.  Ductless systems are available and are a good option for residential settings and certain commercial spaces.

Refrigeration:

Food service, grocery and restaurants spend a large portion of their energy dollars on refrigeration.  There are many opportunities for saving energy and reducing energy costs for refrigeration systems through energy efficient fan motors, compressors, heat & defrost controls, case lighting and preventative maintenance plans.
